Since I had trouble with the mouth movement on my animatronic wolf, the first draft, i've been researching potential ways of setting up the servo for better movement. I found one set up on BPEsolutions.com that I think I will give a try:
I want to create a showcase exploring the concept of death and people’s interaction with it, exploring how people see death and illustrate my own speculations about the afterlife. I delve into this subject through the use of three anthropomorphized wolf characters each representing a specific kind of death and the mythology behind their creation and purpose. Each character design is based on how society sees different kinds of death as well as a representation of the mind, body and soul.

Hands and Ears
The previous week I decided to take a break from the animation scene drawings and start on some of the elements for my Animatronic sculpture(s). In hopes of making my wolf animatronic look as anatomically correct as possible I studied wolf ears and bone structure to start carving ears from foam and sculpt skeleton hands.
The ears are carved from upholstery foam, the ridges in the ear are to semi mimic a more anatomically correct look of a canine ear. I also found some nude colored fabric to line the inner part of the ear to look more like skin. eventually the outer part of the ear will be covered in fur and the inner part of the ear will be painted to give a more realistic look.
I also started to sculpt skeleton fingers for the sculpture, I'm still not sure if I'll be makeing one or more figures so I decided to create a mold of the fingers so I can mass produce them if I need to. I will be casting the fingers in Resin.
